Cacao Goddess Hot Elixir
How can you up-level your health in a delicious and easy way?
Why yummy elixir drinks of course! My go-to for a mid-morning or afternoon cuppa - with all the added health benefits!
This here is my cacao goddess - supporting the gut, hormones and nervous system!
Ingredients;
1 cup organic nut milk (I use Pure Harvest or Nutty Bruce)
1 tsp organic cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger (powdered or freshly grated)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon PHGG fibre
1 teaspoon chocolate/vanilla flavoured vegan protein powder (I like RAW or Nutra Organics).
1/2 teaspoon medicinal mushrooms & tonic herbs (eg Reishi mushroom, ashwagandha - I use the Superfeast blend)
1 tsp raw honey or organic maple syrup
Sprinkle of sea salt
Method;
Heat nut milk. Add in all ingredients. Stir well - ta daaaa. Quick and easy!
So a little low-down..
The medicinal mushrooms and tonic herbs are absolute stars at supporting the nervous system!
Cacao is also high in magnesium, our relaxation mineral - crucial for the nervous system & hormones (not to mention a party for your tastebuds).
The cinnamon and protein powder are great at balancing blood sugar - very important for your hormones!
PHGG is a great prebiotic fibre - here to support and fuel your good gut bacteria.
Ginger is anti-inflammatory and also supportive to your digestive system.
