Smoothie Bowl

What's one way you can get all your nutritional needs in a quick and easy-to-make meal?

Yep, you know it! Smoothies!

Here's my go-to smoothie bowl recipe!


Ingredients

  • 1-1.5 cups nut milk or filtered water (I use the Pure Harvest or Nutty Bruce brand)

  • 1 cup frozen berries

  • 1 frozen banana (or boiled & frozen zucchini for sugar free option if regulating your blood sugar is an issue)

  • 1 scoop vegan protein powder (I use the RAW brand)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal (store in the fridge to prevent from oxidation)

  • 1 teaspoon slippery elm

  • 1 tablespoon PHGG fibre (start with 1 teaspoon if you're new to this)

  • 1/4-1/2 an avocado

  • Gluten-free muesli/granola (Brookfarm gluten-free muesli or Good Mix Blend 11 or Blend 13)

Blend all the ingredients together (except the muesli) in a blender or nutribullet. Pour into a bowl and top with the muesli. You can also add chopped fruit on top.
